I've been an architecture student for almost a year now. I will share about what I've been through here.
WHY ARCHITECTURE?
At a first place, I never though of majoring in architecture. I wanted to be a dentist. But, turns out I failed. I like to draw and I thought maybe I should enter Visual Communication Design or Fashion Design. But my mom didnt really want me to majoring one of those. So, she told me "try architecture" and I thought, why not? So here I am!
WHAT DID YOU LEARN?
Well, I'm an architecture student. I learn about what is architecture, what is architect, what can I do if I become an architect. I learn how to think like an architect, how to be an architect, what should I think of when I'm designing. I learn how to design, the materials. I learn lots of things for sure.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ?
I've made design for security post for my 1st semester final task.
TELL ME THE STRUGGLES!
Well, I lack time of sleep when its close to the deadline. And there's a lecture about building structure that I hate the most because I dont understand any of it. And also when I cant think of any design for my task, I feel like wanna cry and give up.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?
In 2nd semester, I will design a house in real estate. WISH ME LUCK GUYS!
